WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY FLIGHT?
A. We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time (there are no penalties for being early), you can take all the pictures you like.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
A. Your fighter pilot for the day experience starts with an introduction to your sworn "enemy", the person you will be dog fighting with. Together you will both be briefed on safety, and what your profile will look like.
After your flight, you can take all the pictures you like, you will be given a quick debrief with your pilot about the flight. You will be awarded your flying swag. (patch, challenge coin, certificate)
We do have some limitations and restrictions so please take a moment to review them:
Weight and height restrictions are in effect due to the limiting size of the parachutes, seat straps and cockpit dimensions. The passenger weight limit is 250 lbs and height limited to a person no taller than 6' 3". This limitation is not negotiable. If you have a history, recent or current medical conditions like heart complications a doctor’s note is required in order to clear you for the flight. This would have to be provided before the flight took place the passenger must attend and pass a ground- briefing on the L29 Delfin that includes emergency egress training and verbal testing. You will not be able to fly, if you have not had this brief.
Please attend the airport a minimum of 20 minutes before your scheduled time of flight. The passenger will be required to sign the ACER Cold War Museum’s flight waiver in order to release the aircraft for flight. No flights will take place until our release is signed. Our Pilots have the right to refuse any flight due to safety concerns. A. You can wear almost anything you want, however we would recommend conservative comfortable clothes that are appropriate for the weather conditions on the day. We will offer you a flight suit for your experience.
Q. IF I CHANGE MY MIND, CAN I GET A REFUND?
A. No, however we will transfer your booking to a close friend or a relative.
Q. IF I AM UNABLE TO FLY CAN I RESCHEDULE?
A. Yes in most circumstances we require 10 days notice to reschedule you. It may take a while longer to re-schedule your actual flight, as all of our flights are paired.
Q. I AM UNABLE TO USE MY FLIGHT CAN I CLAIM A REFUND?
A. Unfortunately no, but the bookings are transferable so you can give it to a relative or a close friend as a gift.
Q. HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO REDEEM MY FLIGHT BOOKING?
A. Bookings are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. This can be extended at our option. It has been our policy to extend up to 24 months.
